I wasn't following you before last year. I still haven't decided if I'm happy to have seen KC again together or if I would have prefered to keep what we had without all this heartbreak. But at least that letter and everything after brought me back in the fandom and I found you, I'm glad because you've been such a positive voice for us ❤ you said you weren't always watching TO, when did you start?

Thank you, anon! And well, I’ve got quite the lengthy tale for how I wound up where I am, lmao. So after S4 of TVD I was naturally under the impression that TO and TVD would sort of co-exist, not be so forcefully torn in separate directions so that they’d be super distant entities. I was gonna watch TVD S5, I was ready, 5x01 rolls around and they had that whole Caroline/Jesse moment like 10 min into the episode and I was like alright I’m out. Because they clearly only valued Caroline in the sense that she be shopped around to have various love interests, instead of focusing and concluding the one’s she had, like Tyler or Klaus. 

By this point I was getting informed on TO every so often, I came in to watch 1x07 which was the Tyler episode, and by then I can’t remember if we knew JoMo would be coming back for the TVD 100th but I was on the lookout for that. So I watched 1x07, and then I came back for 1x11 because TO S1 used to air on Tuesday’s, TVD on Thursday’s, so since TO aired first, they had perfect cause to have it lead into TVD things. So I watched 1x11 thinking it would explain why Klaus was gonna show up in TVD 5x11—it didn’t. 

Watched 5x11 that same week, had a whole fun time, and then like got our dreams crushed on by Julie, bc she literally has no soul. Watched 1x12 of TO the week after, expecting aftermath of 5x11, there was a tiny smidge, but not enough to make me stay. TVD I watched up to 5x14, and then stopped again. 

So, I wasn’t watching either show. S6 and S2 rolled around, I watched maybe a few sporadic clips. S2 of TO was legit one of the most awful things I had to hear about every week, by this point I was getting anons that would stop by to tell me what happened in TO and TVD every week, so I wasn’t watching but I was very well-informed. Then S7/S3 rolled around and that’s where shit went wild. 

I had been informed about the Caroline pregnancy, with my partner in crime Hillary, and we blabbed, because fuck that. And then later on I found out about the crossover, and I had never intended to blab about that, legit the only reason we said anything about the pregnancy was bc that shit was disgusting. But then someone spoiled the 7x14/3x14 shit all wrong, to purposefully annoy the fandom, so I corrected it. And by this time, I wasn’t watching S7 at all, and I was kinda watching S3, I made a deal with my anons that season that I’d watch any episode’s without Camille, lmao. But again, anons kept me mega-informed, had like pages worth of discussions every week despite me not watching either show. 

AND THEEEEEEENNN, spoiler anon happened. So that was like five episode’s worth of spoilers for the back half of TO S3 that just showed up here??? And then my usual discussions with my anons wasn’t enough, because I was getting all these asks about the info as the weeks went on and I was so lost, so as a result of that info, I started watching S3 episode’s on like a delay. I’d watch it like the next day on Hulu every week. And then I watched the S3 finale live, and I live-blogged, hadn’t done that since the S2 finale, and then I never stopped, so here I am, lmao.
